Jessica practices general commercial litigation with a significant focus on construction litigation and counseling on behalf of contractors, developers, and design professionals. Jessica has both defended and asserted claims of breach of contract, negligence, professional negligence, DTPA, fraud, and mechanic' s liens foreclosure. She is also experienced in drafting construction contracts for a variety of delivery systems (traditional, GMP, design-build, etc.) for developers and general contractors as well as drafting service agreements for engineers and design professionals.

Jessica is certified as an information privacy professional for U.S. privacy law and is also a member of Munsch Hardt' s eDiscovery task force. In that capacity, she advises clients and other Munsch attorneys on cost-effective and defensible strategies for the preservation, collection, processing, review and production of electronic information. As part of the task force, she publishes an internal eDiscovery e-newsletter and conducts continuing legal education programs on ediscovery. Jessica is a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production, Group 11 on Data Security and Privacy Liability. Jessica was actively involved in the production of the 2013 Sedona Conference’s on Cyber Liability.  She coordinated planning calls with conference faculty to develop conference content, and also drafted written materials exploring the application of the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct to attorneys' work related cyber activity.  These materials were distributed to attendees and used by one of the panels in its presentation, which focused on data protection and security for lawyers and law firms.
