As a member of the Firm’s Corporate & Securities practice, Jessica represents middle-market companies in corporate, transactional, and securities matters, with a significant focus on corporate compliance, data management and cyber securities issues. Jessica works closely with her clients in the construction, technology, manufacturing and financial industries to understand their business objectives.

When it comes to representing companies and their boards, Jessica not only is accustomed to conducting in-depth due diligence and internal investigations, but she is particularly adept at drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transactional documents for the acquisition of companies or sale of assets, as well as for joint ventures, partnerships, and consortiums for various projects with strategic partners.

Jessica is also a certified information privacy professional for U.S. privacy law. In this capacity she drafts and negotiates contracts concerning data-related vendors and arrangements, guides clients through privacy and security assessments, and vets privacy and security risks in corporate transactions. This background dovetails with her work in data retention and preservation, particularly as it relates to potential litigation. Jessica counsels businesses on cost-effective and defensible strategies for the retention, use, and disclosure, of their data.

Finally, Jessica is a member of Munsch Hardt’s eDiscovery Task Force. As part of this Task Force she publishes an internal eDiscovery e-newsletter and conducts continuing legal education programs on eDiscovery. Jessica is a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production, Group 11 on Data Security and Privacy Liability and was actively involved in the Sedona’s first conference on Cyber Liability in 2013.
